.Srn, I respectfully ask of your Excellency, leave of absence for the term of Three months, I have served in the Capacity of Chief Justice of Fayette County, for near three years, without missing a Court, and feel~ng very anxious to accompany the Expedition, shortly to start -agamst the Comanche's under Command of Col. .Moore, (with the hope in the Capacity of a soldier of serving my Country,) induces me to ask leave of absence believing that under such circumstances your Excellency will accede to my request Your Excellency's Obdt.
