EVANS [Addressed:] Gen Mirabeau. B. Lamar Houston Texas fEndorsed :] John Ernns Galveston July 1839 Respecting Croppers resignation as Sergeant &c No. 1378. GEORGE K. TEULON TO LAMAR Tuesday Morning, 30th July 1839. To his Excellency Gen! M. B. LA11c.AR, President of the Republic of Texas, &c. &c. That it may please Him who giveth and who taketh away- in whose hands is life and death-and from whose decree there is no appeal- to grant you strength and consolation in this hour of trouble, is the sincere prayer of your Excellency's most humble servant GEORGE K TEULON [Endorsed:] Geo.
