It affords me pleasure to have an opportw1ity of introducing to your acquaintance the Rev'd Mr Paguire and Rev'd Mr Chandy, both Cath- olic Clergy highly recommended, and Commissioned by our most worthy R't Rev'd Bishop Antoine La Blanc of this diocess.- They visit our new Republic with the pure object, of promulgating the Christian faith, and using their devout exertions in promoting harmony and good feeling throughout the Conntry, by CoIJecting together the Scat-· tered Members of their holy Church.
