Our mutual friend Wm L Wynn is just leaving for Texas on a trip of pleasure as well as business-he owns one half of my interest in the lands which you bot. for our Company- as he has time to spare he may be useful to you in locating my lands which has not been located- in other words .if he can be of service to you in that way you can com- mand his service- . All things are going on here about as when you saw us- I should be pleased to hear from you when you have leisure to write me relative to the state of affairs in your Country in which I feel a great interest- As we now consider ourselves settlers in this Country I may find it to my advantage not only to visit you but to inereas my interest largely in Texas before long-in haste Yrs Very truly A.
