Do you know the parties? 2nd Were you or either of you ever acquainted with Austin Perkins if yea when were you acquainted with him? 3 State what were the different offices you or either of you held in the Texian Army and WQat offices each of you now hold in the civil Government of Texas. 4th State whether you or eithe; of you ever saw or were acquainted with :Majr Ward's Battalion in the Texian Army, if yea whether you · know Austin Perkins to be in said Battalion 5th State whether said Austin Perkins is now in life or is dead, if dead when & where he died also state the general reputation concerning him in Texas? lf you cannot say he is positively dead, state, your beliefs and your reasons therefor and every other thing in favor of plffs. 1-Did you know the Austin Perkins who was a Legatee named in the last will & Testament of Richard Smith of Houston County, Georgia Deceasecl ?- If yea, State when and where and how you came to lmow him if of your own knowledge?- 2-Was there any Common Report in Texas as to the demise of this particular individual Austin Perkins?- 3- Have not several persons who were reputed to have been :Mas- sacred with Maj.
