Resolution authorizing all Commissioned O.ffecers to ad11iill- ister the Oath prescribed by Law to pe1so11s enlisting. Be it resolved by the Ge11eral Council of the Provisional Gov- ernment of Texas, That all commissioned officers of the Regu- lar Army of Texas, when ordered on recruiting service, shall be authorized and empowered to administer the oath pre- scribed by law, to all or every person or persons, who shall enlist into the service of Texas, and sign enlistments as ll soldier in the Regular Army.
