Resol·ved, That when any uncertainty as to the rank of officers of the Regular Army, of the same grade, shall arise, seniority of rank shall he determined by drawing numbers, which shall be done by order of the commanding General, agreeably to the provisions of the third section of an Ordi- nance and Decree entitled, on Ordinance and Decree to or- ganize and establish an .Auxiliary Volunteer Corps lo the Army of Texas, &c. Resolved, That the Commander-in-Chief shall have power to accept the services of, nt least, five thousand .Auxiliary Volunteers in addition to the local volunteers, agreeably to the Organic Law and the Ordinances and Decrees of the Gen- eral Council of Texas.
