and Qarancohua Bayous, and from thence running by a divid- i_ng line, to the head waters of the Tres Palacios Bayou, and from thence a due North course to the Northern boundary line of the Municipality of Matagorda; thence along said b~undary line a due west course to the La Bacca River; thence down the centre of the said River, to the anchorage ground of the La llacca Bay, in the Matagorda Bay; thence to the Eastward along the Northern shore of Matagorda Bay to the place of beginning. The said Jackson Municipality shall be entitled to all the functionaries which the other Municipalities are, or may be, e~titled to; and they shall be created in the same manner as in others.
