Conrad, Resolved, 'l'hat the committee on military affairs be instructed to n,port the proper manner of furnishing, both the regular and vol- unteer army of Texas, with a proper number of Surgeons, and a Surgeon General, to the medical department of the army. 11fr. Conrad moved that the rule be dispensed with; and that the resolution be put upon its passage. And the question being taken thereon, it was decided in the affirmative: The qucc;tion then rccuring upon the adoption of the resolution, whieh was dec,idecl in the affirmative. On motion of Mr. Collinsworth, the convention took up the re- port of the committee of the whole upon the constitution. On motion of lllr.
