No citizen shall be taken, or imprisoned, or dispoa- i::e;:sed of h;s freehold, liberties, or privileges, or outlawed, or ex- iled, or in any manner disfranchised, or deprived 0£ his life, lib- erty or property, but by the law 0£ the land. SEC. 9. No title 0£ nobility, hereditary privileges or honors, shail ever be granted or conferred in this republic.
