The information you haYe receirncl respecting the limitation to which you are confined in preparing to leave for your post, is not cor­ rect. The law does not exact, far less does the D€partment impose a restriction whieh could not hut operate to the serious inco1l\'enience, sometimes, of citizl'llS appointed to foreign posts.
