I do not know why Juarez has put such an obstaele when he was the fin,t to apprize me that the Government was to send here an english copy of the docu- ment and that I ought to write to :Mr Zeledon to get the authorization to copy it. After all, General, I think that nothing is lost - because I suppose that you wanted a copy thinking that you hacl lost the orig- inal - hut as ~Ir John Deshon has sent to you many weeks H/!O the original Document I infer that another copy is now useless to you. I came here at Leon, where I am a teacher in the Uili- wrsity I have there two classes on of Spanish - another of Frech [sicl language. Besides this I teach privately some pupils english spanish r,nd french I have also established two classes of Elocution - for the delivery of speeches & one of them is exclusively for the clergy.
