DEAR GENERAL I write to request of you the favour to have made for me a correct copy of the election returns of our Regimental officers. I wish all accurate, as I may, perhaps, find it my privilege, if not, a duty to myself, to avail myself of some irregularities, to contend for what I conceive to be my rights.
