GENERAL ORDER CONCERNING PRIVATE PROPERTY 1
Nacogdoches, Texas, 3rd Sept. 1838
General Order. No person will interfere with any property claimed by Mrs. Quinelly; until further orders from the Presi- dent; or the decision of a court of justice. No property is for- feited until a legal trial, but no property is to be sold by any Mexican unless by order of the President, nor any property taken from them by any authority, unless under decision of a court of Justice or Court Martial.
