CERTIFICATE OF THE SALARIES OF INDIAN AGENTS 1

·washington, 5th February, 1844. This is to certify that I agree to give to D. G. Watson, and John Conner, each, one hundred and seventy five dollars, to be paid out of the appropriation for Indian purposes; in consideration that they are.to accompany Luis Sanchez and Sloat (should he go) to Pah-hah-yuco's band of Comanches, ancl induce him, with the chiefs of all his bands, to come to the treaty in April, on Tawoccano Creek.
