I am happy to learn that your health is improving. So soon as it is properly restored, I will be happy to see you at this place, on your way to the army. Don't stay for the want of anything that may be in my power, to serve you with. When the Surgeons are appointed to your Regiment I will not forget Doct McGee, as you have requested. On August 6, 1836, he signed with many others, a call for a general consultation. lie lived at Brazoria, and, after the outbreak of the·Texas Revolution, served in Captain Wyly Martin's company from March 15, to July 23, 1836.
