City of Austin, Dec. 16th, 1841 The undersigned, at the request of President Houston, have examined the furniture and effects belonging to the Executive Office, and Certify their condition to be as follows, Viz:
1 Pine table and Desk, damaged 5 percent 1 Patent Letter Press, in good condition 1 Sand box do do do 3 Windsor chairs, damaged 15 percent 1 Wafer stand, in good condition 1 candlestick (brass), damaged 75 percent 1 Ruler in good condition 2 Paper weights (Lead) in good order 1 Desk knife and folder, damaged 50 percent 1 Map of the city and City Tract, in good order 1 Tin paper cutter
