This will certify that the foregoing company was organized in San Augustine on Saturday the fourth day of June, 1836, and Henry Reed was elected Captain, W.W. Hanksey was elected 1st Lieut, and mustered into service on the same day to serve in the Army of Texas for the term of Three Mos. Given under my hand this sixth day of June 1836. "Signed" John G.
