And whereas the said treaty having been submitted to the Senate of the United States, for its constitutional action thereon, the Senate did, on the fifteenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and forty-seven, resolve as fol- lows, viz. :- Resolved, (twothirds of the senators present concurring,) That the Senate ad- vise and consent to the ratification of the articles of a treaty made and concluded at Council Springs, in the count.y of Robert- son, Texas, near the Brazos River, the

Resolution of the Senate ratifying said treaty with amendments.
