This is to certify, that Jack Ivy was employed by me during the months of Aug'st & Septr A.D. 1845 for the purpose of in- ducing the Waco Wichita Tawakoni & Keechi to attend the coun- cil in Septr 1845--which service was performed and he was allowed one dollar pr day for said services by the com'rs Geo W.
