The report of S. G. Fiddler, Orderly Ser- geant, dated Camp Leon March the 24th has been received. In reply, I have no additional orders in regard to your operations to give. It is expected that you will use every exertion to protect the Settlement.a from the incursions of the Indians, while the com- mand continue in Service, and make due report of your opera- tions to this office. Unless otherwise directed, the term of serv'ice of the com- pany will be considered at an end, with the expiration of the six months, that being the maximum time for which it was mustered into service.
