I send you by Mr. Hart a small portion of the Comanche Chiefs (Iron Jackets) coat of mail, it covered his body and each piece lapped over the other like shingles on a roof. It is all I could get as it was eagerly taken and divided by the boys. The Co. are all well and in good spirits and ready to fight the Coman- ches again whenever we come across them. Capt. Ford is good health and spirits, has made up a company for the 18 months Service.
