I have the honor to acknowledge the Receipt of your letter dated April 26/64.--directing me to make Monthly Reports of all arrests made in my district, etc. I will state for your information, That as soon as the Re- ports will come in from the Captains & Lieut'3nants commanding Companies & Squads in the different counties of my District,- I will make out a full Report of all the operations etc. I have made in my District, and will also report the real strength of my command to your office as_soon as practicable.--
