Enclosed we send you the talks of Jose Maria, Bintah and Black Cat, as we advised you in our last. We would do. This reports as near as we can learn has been circulated among the Indians by white men living near Strouds on Nava- sota but who they are, we have been unable to find out. We have assured the Indians that these reports are false and they are satisfied that they are false. Col Williams leaves this morning to effect the objects men- tioned our last.
