I have contracted for the building of another house, to consist of six rooms, leaves me scarce of money I shall need fifteen thousand dollars for present uses- I hope you will send the amount soon as possible, · please write me how many houses you think will be necessary :for public offices- The Citizens of Austin are anxious to know when you will be here, as they are anxious to show you as much respect, as their circumstances will admit of Respectfully & Truly Your friend
