There is much sickness prevailing in Lhc small band that are here if I do not have from the Government soon I shall send back the Regulars and a portion of Lhe Volunteers to Victoria and send a detachment lo of Cavalry to Bryan by Lhe Lime I could now hear from the Government the been of Service of one hundred more men will have expired. What arrangement have the Government made ahout raising funds and recmiting Regulars a matter discrable for me to know if I could get the information.
