Dear Sir your communication of the 21st was recd. this morning with its enclosures we have dispatched an express to Lynchburg and Genl. Zavala, with copies of all the documents recommending them lo forward the same or copies lo Trinity and Bevil Settlements. I have forwarded your letter lo Genl. Zavala and the people below on the Bay and will assist the Govr. on his way lo Sanfellipe. The officers of the Militia and Volunteers Corps are calling their commands together and will be in readiness for any service when they may he wanting.
