AL a meeting of the citizens of the town of San Felipe de Austin held on the 26th Inst. at the tavern of Johnson and Winburn, Judge Geo Ewing was caUed to the chair, and Spencer H. Jack elected Secretary. After expressing the object of the meeting Patrick C. Jack submitted to the foUowing resolutions were adopted [sic). Resolved That in all republican countries the voices of the majority should prevail. Resolved Thal Texas is now in a state of anarchy and that nothing but a consultation of the people of Texas at large, can restore quiet and concerted action and we therefore recommend a consultation.
