This day I received an official letter from the Commandant General of tl11~se Stal·es that the moment Don Lorenzo Zavala presents himself J will apprehend and march him for Vera Cruz or not having a conveyance to Matamoros with proper Security And as the said Zavala has arrived at the Bar of Velasco I request after assistance of your Lordship being the more immediate authority to apprehend and Send him with the greatest possible Speed to this Lown and thence to Bejar he will be conducted conformably to the order above mentioned I [torn] to your E. the protestations of my high consider- acion
