Under date of 14th of this month the S. General i\'lartin Perfecto de Cos Says to me as follows
Unrler this dale Says the Paternal corn'aclant of the State the following
Advise all the military Commandants mo particularly those of Santa Ana of Tamaulipas- that in whatever manner lhe Snr Zavala should present himself they will compel him to embark for Vera Cruz lo respond to the Supreme Government in relation lo his diplomatic mission and they will consign the Ex general Mexia so the commandante general of Vera Cruz- And I forward this to you to the end that on your part you may have the determination to comply very punctually. In case you should nol be able lo send them by sea you will forward them with competent security to this town for the clisposicion of this commandancy general. And which I transcribe lo your Excellency in order that you may assist me in the apprehension of the Senor Zavala who has actually arrived at the bar of Velasco and which in the name of the Commandancy General the moved immediate authority having the more immediate authority you will remit him to this town the Said Zavala and from this to Bejar with the corresponding Security I have the honor to offer you with this motive the certainty of my aprecialion
