Your communication per Mr. Bunton has been received and we are glad lo inform you that we have al lenght received from the interior information that may be depended on; Mr. Gritton, whom we are informed is a confidential friend of the President, is now in this town direct from the city of Mexico who informs us that all the reports of the unfriendly disposition of the general government towards the colonies are false, and that if troops are ordered on lo Texas, it is for the purpose of counlcracting any insurreclionary movements that might be
