Capt. Edwards of this place will leave here tomorrow morning with a company of Volunteers for the Army-say ten in number and expects to be joined by more. Capt. H. informs me Lhat we can depend on a company from the United Stales of at least one hundred in a few days. there is now here five respectable Gentlemen and about fifteen men who will be here today or tomorrow from state of Mississippi with Lhe intention of joining the army-also forty men are expected here today from the Ayish Bayou district, also Major Jacob Roth of this town leaves on the 16th. with 15 to 20 men and expects to be joined by as many more in the vicinity, among those Gentlemen from Mississippi there is one Physician. we have from the United Stales very flallering accounts
