I was sent Back with two more gentlemen of Commisioners to act with the Cherichez Indians we mel the Chief they appeard Lo be very well satlisfyed I return home I am on my way to washington now In Nacogdoches we have got an Express that six hunderd troops wiU be heare in two Days about one Hunderd from New Orleans and the Red Land we have got Great Credit for the Resolusion we Drawd up before you left St Phillippe I shall Return to washington in a few days six Hunderd from tennessee which say they Put themselfs under your command the Redlanders say the same my hole sole is for you lake (care] of your men God grant strenght.
