purchase Two Long Eighteen pound Cannons, with all the necessary equipage completely mounted on carriages suitable for Field Service, with Two Hundred rounds of powder and round balls for each cannon.- And that he be also authorized lo purchase one Twelve Inch Howitzer well mounted with the necessary equipage for Field Service with two hundred bomb shells suitable lo the caliber of the same. And that he be authorized lo call upon the commissioners al New Orleans for money lo pay eof rhl same And that he be instructed to return to this country with all possible speed with the said supplies And that the President of this Convention be requested lo cause a copy of this report and resolution to be lransmillcd lo Mr. Hall.

Edward 1-lall late of the City of New Orleans for the purpose of aiding Texas in her struggle for Conslilulional Liberty, Therefore resolved lhal as a tribute of respect to Capt E. Hall for his kind interposition in our behalf that he is hereby au thorizccl lo locale one league of land on any of the public domain of Texas nol otherwise appropriated and lhal a copy of these resolutions be furnished lo Capt.
