Being informed by Gcnl SF Austin in writing that in his letter of August 25th 1834 he had no intention to charge me with any thing dishonorable nor in any other letter he ever wrote I therefore retract my card in answer to his letler it being founded on a misconstruction of his letter. All differences between us are satisfactorily adjusted & peace prevails between us. Wm H Wharton Camp above Bexar 6th November 1835
