Jose Urrea, General de Brigade, y Comandanle de la Divicion de Operaciones sobre Brazoria. Por cuanto el Doctor Benjamin Harrison vecino de Bay Prairie, se me ha presentado y acreditado al mismo riempo que no ha tenido participio en la sublebacion be Tejas le condedo pasaporte para que regrese a su casa, conforme la previene la proclama del Exmo. Sor. General en Gefe y Presidente de la Republic Don Antonio Lopez de Santana, fecha en Bejar a siete del pasado mes de Marzo, acompanandole su criado llamado Benjamin Mordicay cuyo in- dividuo reune las mismas circunstancias y para que se les proteja y no se les ponga impedimento en el transito les cloy este del otro lado del rio Colorado a diez de Abril de 1836. Since the Express carried by Mr. Swinney started to you more information has reached me that the Enemy are crossing at Martins Ferry three hundred actually across and our men & them actually fighting some of our men are killed. I suppose five hundred opposite me. The Enemy are divided I think it probable that they will attempt crossing here-one of their cannons is below. The other was here since 7 oclock P.M.
