Camp west of the Brazos April 7th, 1836

Dear Huling

I recv your favor of March 13th the day before yesterday and have taken the first opporlunily by express of writing in return. your proposition in favor of Mr. G. L. Morrison's entering our firm I am fearful would nol answer. I have mel 3 or 4 persons in camp who say they are well acquainted wilh his circumstances.
