1 have assigned to the commissarys department for stores for this department, and since have received nothing but insult in return- The sick and wounded are entirely destitute of all provisions, and consequently are justly and loudly complaining of the neglect with which they are treated. If they cannot be supplied, I must distribute them among their companies, and resign my station- First, I want a Seward, books, and some cooking utensils-Coffee, Sugar, Rice, Bacon, or Lard, Bread or Flour, Potatoes, Rice, Pork, Wine Brandy or Whiskey, Salt, Peper, Candles, Soap, fruit &c.-AII of which with one or two exceptions we have been destitute for three days-
