Maysville, March 20, 1836 early in the morning
Dear Cousin
I wish you to have the pamphlet hurried out as quick as possible-it is quite important to me that it should be-send one copy lo Dr. Jno. M. Duke & one to C. B. Williams, and one to J. S. Chambers of this place-try and have it inserted in full in the papers of that place. Speak to i\'lr. Ficklin and McCalla to try and get up a Texas meeting to express their opinions or adopt resolutions approving the cause of Texas-it will have great moral weight. It can be done after the pamphlet is out which can be read to explain the question of meetings were held at Cincinnati and here-Archer left yesterday, will wait at Wheeling. I slept none last night, and shall leave in the morning. Send one copy to Thos. Marshall, Paris. Love to the girls.
S. F. Austin
