the besieged- If however I hear of the fall of Bexar before I reach them, I shall retire on this place & complete the fortification now in state of forwardness & prepar.e for a vigorous defence, wailing anxiously in any event for the arrival of reinforcements from the Interior- I leave from 80 to 100 men for the present defence of this place with the expectation of a speedy reinforcement from Matagorda &c

Robinson In conformity with the existing Laws (there being no quorum of the Council) I Report to Your Excellency that from the 18th February up to 25th February instant inclusive I have admitted to audit and drafted for on account of . Military Expences $38.66 amt of Government debts on 18th February Inst. 39171.86 amt of Government debts on 25th February Inst. $39210.52 In my last Report I discovered an error of Eleven cents the amt of Government Debts as Reported last was $39171.75 which should have been $39171.86. as stated above J. W. Moody Auditor
