Sir You arc hereby required lo proceed forwilh on Lhe Recruiting Service- You will take up the line of march for the town of Hio Grande, from thence to Peotis, thence to San Juan de Mat, thence to Aguaverde thence to San Fernando, thence lo Lorado, thence lo Revilla, thence. Lo Alcantro, thence lo Rinosa, thence lo Comargo, from thence lo Florido, & thence to Matamoras where you will make your Head Quarters unlit you receive furlher orders.- you will make regular reports from all the places above namccl,-and make as many recruits as possible at each place-taking care that when you shall have formed a Company lo forward the same to this post,-and proceed lo recruit other companies as fast as possible.- Enclosed, you have the General Instructions for the Recruiting Service, by which you will be governed in all cases.- you have been selected for this Service on account of your distinguished public Services, your well known patriotism, daring valor, firmness and perseverance.-} t is therefore expected & required that this order will be executed with Promptness & dispatch, & it is hoped & confidently believed that my expectations will be fully realized.
