Without Knowing your views on lhe subject, I have senl you a Commission as public slorc Keeper at your own residence, by the advice of the advisory commillee and for the public good, I solicit you to accept, which I hope you will do, as the public stores al Coxes point, I am informed arc very much exposcd- y ou will cause, all public property now at the said point or that may hereafter arrive there, lo be conveyed to your warehouse and there safely Kept, subject to the order of the competent authority. I have given order Lo Cols. Neill & Fannin, & Lt. Thornton Lo draw on you for supplies, out of the said stores, and you will reporl your proceedings to this department. James W.
