A certificate from John Childress stating that a draft for $500-00 was delivered to Governor Smith-the same being conated to Texas- 4. Mariana Cavero's account for Sl4.00 allowed & paid out of the contingent funds on Jan. 21st 1836-a receipt & copy of which is here shown.- 5. John Belden's account allowed, and as was instructed-$40.00 of the same was paid to him out of the contingent fund on Jan-20.1836- 6. On account of $369.50/100 passed by the auditor & a draft of S50 given on the collector of Nacogdoches and credited on said account-the proceedings & copy of which accompanies this report- 7. SI0.00 paid out of the contingent fund for taking an Express to the volunteer army by V Bennett-a copy of which is hereby enclosed- 8. E M. Pease as Secretary of the Council E W Cullen as clerk of the Military, Land, and Indian Committees allowed and paid each S50.00 as part of what's due to them for their services- 9. Also sundry accounts & transactions allowed for for Col D. C.
