I am compelled lo inform you Lhal I find il impossible to get any of the warm clothing for the Army, and that it will be necessary to make other arrangements- The other articles I have procured as near as possible and have this day sent to Lavacca, where I shall go myself, In consequence of no Boat being here, I have been detained longer than I otherwise would have been.- In haste I remain Yours Respectfully John W.
