It is unnecessary for me to say anything about matters here, as our friend Logan Has given you a full statement. l also requested him to write to you in answer to your message by him to me which he has done I was unwell at the time.

I have the honor to report lo Lhe Provisional Government Lhat in obedience to the call of the Representatives of the people met in Ccneral consultation, appointing me a commissioner to proceed to the U. S. of America, I left the volunteer army that is L<:sieging Bexar on the 25, and arrived at this pl~ce last night and am ready lo leave the country in Lhe station which has been assigncu to me. Col.
