On this date I am writing the following to Colonel Ricardo Dromundo, Purveyor of the Army of Operations: "Your Lordship being appointed Purveyor of the Army of Operations in Texas, it being necessary to march as soon as possible to the villa of Guerrero to purchase food and stores for the above-mentioned army, I advise your Lordship lo begin your march immediately, gathering in Saltillo, as well as in the above-mentioned villa of Guerrero, whatever you find available there, and consigning them to Bejar. "In the villa of Guerrero, where your Lordship should find the excellent Senor D. And I send your Excellency this transcript in order that you will give the aid which the above-mentioned Purveyor should need in the carrying out of his commission, your Excellency being able to dispose of the thirty thousand pesos for this purpose which Sr. Dromundo carries.
