I was disapointed on the return of Mr Knight hy not receveing a Answer from you by Letters wrote previous to this I wrote four-but sence the return of Mr Knight I have found that two of them has been entercepte<l altho incloscd to the Care of Mrs John Lynn-He confined me in Prison Sixteen Days & Seventeen nights the following Morning he sent for me and said I was free-but he thought I was not to Blame-he laid all the blame on Wesstover about the Tobacco said he would not have nothing to do with it if it was not for Him-and Like wise said he was a Dam Rascal for Informing on a man that had Left property in his hands for sale and was sorry he had not put him in Prison for Disobaying his Orders in taking Lepantickland-1 requested him to give me The satisfaction of Gentleman he refused And said I was no Gentleman-he sent for Mr Knight and he has him Confined in Prison- Marten is heir your Family is all well I will thank you to get from Dummy a Light round Jacket and a pair of Bullet Molds that I left in the bar room to his care And take care of them And you will Oblige Your Ob &c Hugh McD Fraser [Addressed: James Powers Esq.
