I have this morning Issued and order to Mr R. Berry or acting alcaldie of this place lo suspend his operations as an officer of the state of Coahuila & Texas he says he will pay no Respect to it and That he will not give up his archives to any one hut his successor who must be sworn in in accordance With the old constitution this is for Your Consideration-pleas say how 1 am to act · 1 have also Issued and order of suspension to Mr G. W. Smyth he has oheyd the order and says he will Continue to suspend his operations till farther orders from You they have passed an order in this commille of safety to order The Commissioners to pay over all their money to Mr Allen, and 1 Expect Mr Allen will make the demand do send some Instruction and have Every thing Regulated Here-in some way
