Kentucky Volunleers. General Orders.

Lexington, August 11, 1836. It is my painful duty to announce to the volunteers of Kentucky, that the requisition made by gen. Gaines, has been annulled hy the president of the United Slates, so far as relates to the troops from Tennessee; and, allhough I have not been officially informed of lhe facl, so far, also, I have no doubt, as relates to the troops from this state. The rendezvous of lhe lroops under my command is, therefore, suspended until further orders. Leslie Combs, comdt.K.V.M.G.
