Dear Sir
We had raised a company and prepared lo start to your assistance when we heard of the Capture of Santa Anna. I see from the last accounts from Mexico that proficies there will he more fighting. I have 75 men that will be ready at a weeks warning to march to your assistance at any time and a great many more wishes to remove to that CounlTy. Please write me your wish on the subject some of the people are too poor lo come without assistance. Respectfully George W.
